Heroin or Cocaine laced with Fentanyl and possibly Carfentanil

Hall & Angus Ltd would like to bring to the attention of all of our followers that the UK is the target for the use of Heroin or Cocaine laced with Fentanyl and possibly Carfentanil. These concoctions have been the cause of a thousands of deaths over the years in the USA and Canada.

BEWARE, the NCA (National Crime Agency) & Public Health England have issued an alert that Fentanyl has been traced in deaths by overdose in Yorkshire. It may also be responsible for recent overdose deaths in Humberside and Cleveland. There is no quality control in criminality, criminals do not care about you or your life, they just want your money at any cost. Do not make a tragic mistake with this drug concoction, your life may be at risk.

A Change in Drug Law

Any Synthetic Cannabinoid, K2 Spice & Mamba are now controlled as a Class B drug under the misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

What does this mean:

  1. Under the Psychoactive Substances Act there was no offence of possession / use of substances previously known as Legal Highs.
  2. Synthetic cannabinoids are now a class B drug, as opposed to the previously known Psychoactive Substances K2 & Mamba
  3. Possession now carries a maximum 5yrs imprisonment. Supply, carries a maximum 14yrs imprisonment.
  4. All powers of arrest and detention apply as per the drug group in which they are now classified.

Hall & Angus Ltd clients are advised to forward memos to staff about the change in this law and where necessary update their existing policies.
